Welcome Back Information

Hello St. Kateri Families!

I hope you’ve had a wonderful summer and got a chance to relax and spend time with family. We are busy preparing for another school year and can’t wait to welcome families on the first day of school on Tuesday, September 2nd! The first bell will ring at 8:13 and the school day will end at 2:50. Please note that school is done at 11:57 on Thursdays.

This year class lists will be available on the exterior doors. Staff will be present beginning at 8:00 to direct students to their meeting area. Don’t worry if you’re unsure of where to go... We will have signs and staff there to direct you! Please note that parking is not available in the staff parking lot or the front turnaround. Thank you for your support as we look to ensure the safety of our school community.

Once students are in their meeting areas, teachers will enter the building when the first bell rings at 8:13. They will head to their classrooms to greet students. Students will be guided to the right classroom by others around the building. To ease congestion, we’d ask that parents/guardians don’t enter the school with students on this first morning. You will be invited to meet the teachers and see the classrooms/school in the following weeks. Watch for more information!

Kindergarten students will have staggered entry times to come into the school on Tuesday and Wednesday. Contact the school if you’re unsure of your assigned staggered entry time.
